Tonight my school's choirs are having a concert! People who live near me (There's like.... one here, but they still count!) Should go to my school at a just before 7! IT WILL BE MUSICALLY GREAT! >_> And people keep saying that Choir's dumb... Hehehehehehe. The thing is that all of the smart people (Or at least lots of the people who are considered smart) are in Choir. BEAT THAT! ...and no, Band pales in comparison to Choir AND Orchestra.

No really. I think the theory behind it was that if they read enough theyll pick up on it without knowing it. And that works if students like to read but... lol

I am, however the other 75% of my grade who isnt doesnt know the difference between there their and theyre. Now theres nothing wrong with not knowing what a gerund is, and most of the kids here wont ever need to know what that is either. However they really need to know the basics.

Here in (area), in 8th grade we had this project called 'PACE'. Basically we were suppopsed to give a report on whatever job we wanted to be when we grew up.
Then in my 8th grade year, they changed it to a science project. >_>
How many of us will actually go into a field using the scientific process (I think that's the name... Like, 6 steps or something on how to go through an experiment.) or other things, like knowing how long it takes for various liquids to gelatinize. Or how does light change by bouncing through a crystal. Or which metal decays fastest when spending a day in orange juice. Kids actually did those.
>_> I think it was a weird decision. Having a small idea of what you want to do is probably more helpful than science.

Because those things have NEVER popped up in my life. KGB sounds familiar. I just don't recognize those acronyms. Please instead of criticizing my ignorance, could you please inform me to what they are? Besides. This is the first year I've ever had any sort of musical class. ^_^ I need some help with music theory. (Thankfully I'm taking Cello lessons)
