The wind rushed past, and I could hear my feet thumping on the ground. My shoes had worn out a long time ago and my bare feet hurt. I didn't dare stop, they were after me, and well when they are after you, you better run like heck or your as good as dead. Before I go on I should explain. I'm still alive, no duh, but it's not over yet. It all started about a month ago, give or take, with an e-mail at my friends house.
******
Cas looked at me, her light blue eyes round, "But I'm the only one who even knows your e-mail. Who was it on the phone?" I shrugged, Black hair falling into my face, "The number is restricted. They seemed urgent, Can I please check it?" Cas fiddled with her sandy blond hair, She stared at me. I wasn't sure for how long, but it felt like forever. She finally spoke, "Alright. But you need to be careful Leah." She sounded worried, which was ageist her light, fluttering personality. I blinked and nodded, "I will." I entered into the site of the e-mail and typed in my password and e-mail. One new message. My Green eyes were wide with surprise, as I could see reflected in the monitor. I looked to Cas, she looked equally shocked. I clicked on the message.

(Continued)
"Cassi!"Cas's mom called, "Come here!" Cas looked up and then turned her blue eyes onto me, "I'll be back." She got up and put a soft smile on her face. She walked out of the room. I watched her go and then turned my attention to my e-mail.
White or Black? Who will win? What do you think? They are always fighting. There can only be one. What side will you choose?
I stared. At The moment I didn't get it. Three beeps from my wrist interrupted my confused thoughts. Time to go. I got up and logged out of my e-mail. I didn't know where Cas was so I called out, "Cas! I need to go home! See ya at school!" I wrote a note in case they didn't hear. My reflection in the monitor revealed my pale face. I managed to put the note on the monitor. I grabbed my school bag, which was surprisingly light for a seventeen year old girl, and headed out. I took the long way home,so I could think about the e-mail. Black and White? I was being oblivious and almost ran into a tree. I looked around. I hadn't realized how far I was already. I was at the boat house. The way the sun hit the nearby water made the green-blue water turn into a beautiful orange-gold. I looked at my watch and my green eyes went wide. I was late and my parents would've started to worry. I broke into a strong sprint.

One of my friends said to go to them if I got writers block. so I did. ********* (Continued) I reached my street and glanced back. it was dusk now. Then I saw the car. A black Saturn with tinted windows so dark I barely could see the driver’s hand on the wheel. Not the time to stop…. I turned and sprinted the rest of the way to my house. I walked in and was greeted by worried parents. They were worried enough so I decided not to mention the Saturn, which was soon forgotten. “Sorry, I took the long way home.” My parents soon relaxed some later. I did my homework, ate dinner, and went to bed.
