This speech was by a 12 year old girl. I think that she did an awesome job! I first found it on another site, but I think that more people need to see it!

I couldn't have said it better than that young girl. She will be a great influence for good someday I think! Abortion is a terrible thing, and I hate it for personal reasons.
However, it really bugs me when people ostracise a woman for deciding to have an abortion. They abandon her in her time of greatest need! It is at that very time, that the woman needs our love and support.
Even though we feel that they made a terrible decision, it is their decision to make (depending on the law), and we should not with-hold that love and support for any reason. I do not, nor do I imply that anyone else does, condemn a woman for having an abortion. I'll let God sort it out. God loves all of his children even those that make bad choices. It could be that He forgives them, and that the child does too. And if they will forgive, then who are we to hold a grudge in our hearts?

I was taught to love the person, but hate the sin. We all have a free agency and I will try and remember that we all make poor decisions at times, but it's God's job to do the judging of that free agency, not mine!

I think a lot of people are led astray these days by laws most especially. In South Africa a while ago there was this thing about not being able to kiss in public if you are under 16.And yet a 12 year old girl is allowed to have an abortion. Please tell me how this works?
Not only that, when I was walking into school a while ago,I saw an advert on a pole that made me look twice.I thought I had mistaken something, because I thought I saw the word 'adoption'.Instead, when I looked again I saw that it actually said 'abortion'.Needless to say,I was shocked and suprised.
In biology class our teacher told us about how much it actually hurts the baby.I'd rather not give the gory details, but the point is,it's a little person,a little mini you,or mini daddy. We had to write an essay about this and I remember I said:Maybe you weren't expecting it,but maybe it was expecting you. This baby needs you!It does not need to be killed.

That's so retarded!! Why should they ban kissing and then encourage abortion?? That's like saying, "Do whatever you want, just keep it secret." With government like that, it's no wonder you feel that way! There used to be laws in the United States about what movies and television were allowed to display and now those are gone too. Where did they go? And more importantly, why were they forgotten??

Where did they go? And more importantly, why were they forgotten?? In earlier times movies had to pass a review board for language and content, but after years of fighting with producers and writers crying that this amounted to censorship......the standards were dropped! It seems that ever since, the newer the movie is........the more racy the scenes are and vulgar the language has become! I think that a slight turning point happened when Janet Jackson's dress fell apart a few years ago at an awards event though. Since then it has become apparent that at least some form of controls need to be in place for such things. I personally don't want to see nudity or hear offensive or vulgar language on TV or at the movies! The same with novels. I don't care to read such trash!

Crap I cant remember where but somewhere in the scriptures, D&C I think, God says he forgives who he wants to but we must forgive all people and what you said is true, We dont need to give up on our friends and family when they fall away because thats when they need you the most.

when i was in 8th grade my teacher made us write a letter to a baby that we either gave up or we had an abortion and i think that affected everyone. i couldnt put any feeling into it because it just made me cry. ... i wish i had because a. i failed the assignment and b. i think it would have had a greater impact
