I JUST got home from Kirtland Amazing.
I just wanna post and blab and blab. But, I'm so tired. In 3 days we crammed roller skating, a dance, a special presentation (Which was really just a lady from our stake talking about facing adversity. I didn't really find it very good..if anyone said anything she would stop. She stoped at least 25 times. Even whispering a spiritual comment got a "I'll wait." look. I hate people like that. It's not like we were overly loud. I'm sorry if I like sharing scriptural connections before I forget! )
and all the church sites, testimony meeting IN the kirtland temple!! Amazingness, And, driving there and back (5 hours exactly with a 20 min. break from Palmyra to Kirtland.)
So, heres the quick summary. (And, this was my second time at kirtland. First was 5 yrs ago.)
-Kirtland is such a spiritual place. It makes me appreciate the amazingness of living in Palmyra.
-Joseph Smith tar and feathering happened in Kirtland. I never fully realized that
- There was AMAZING spiritual manifestations during the kirtland temple dedication. I knew about the angles and christ coming but there were so many accounts of MANY different things. Babys shouting hallelujah, all the prophets of the old testament being there, angels meeting on the roof for a meeting, fire shooting from the roof. All kinds of things!
And, my doubling on seminary so I can cover Old Testament is really paying of. I got to cite a scripture mastery in Isaiah when someone asked I love scripture mastery but I barley have any memorized.
Oh, and I'm working on my personal progress trying to finish.
