I wanna hear them! ^_^ I LOVE Latter-Day choral groups. They're the kinda musicians I want to take after. ^_^ That's interesting. I sang in Sacrament meeting a month or two ago, and we sang #335, I think. I know it's back there, and is Brightly Beams our Father's mercy. Anyways, the chorus goes: Let the lower lights be burning Send a gleam across the wave Some poor fainting struggling seaman We may rescue, we may save. Talkin' about missionary work, o'course.

I want thier CD for my birthday. I've only heard about 4 of the songs so far, but my favorite have been the following: Ye Elders of Israel Count Your Blessings (Michael! They did it so happily! I think it was really good for the song and message.) For the Beauty of the Earth P.S. John Rutter, a very famous composer, put together an arangement of For the Beauty of the Earth, which is absoloutely BEAUTIFUL of a song. It's one of my favorites of all time. If you ever can, listen to it.

GASP! Count your many blessings is one of my favorite hymns, because of the happy, cheery, optimistic message it has to share. ^_^ I'm a happy guy. Excuse me. Anyways, I've listened to all the songs now, and I'll make a list of my favorites (From the 9 different ones you can listen to for free) In no particular order... Ye Elders of Israel Jesus Savior Pilot Me (This one depends. If I come at it in a 'bleaurgh' attitude, I find it stinkin' annoying. If I come at it hoping for the best, it's beautiful. Weird.) Count your blessings For the Beauty of the Earth Calling You I love happy songs. ^_^ They're pretty much all I listen to. Happy LDS songs and slow and reverent LDS songs. I really like this one CD I have, titled 'Nauvoo Adventures'. If you ever go to Nauvoo, there was a musical thing in one of the visiting site things (Not the little theater place. I think it was the redo temple-esque visitors center thing) about the story of Nauvoo. It has some beautiful pieces, like the song about the Penny Fund and Nine Graves Today. Singing along to Count Your Blessings gives me joy. ^_^ I actually find it FUN to sing along to The Lower Lights. P.S. Workdog, how could you say you dislike a song such as Count Your Blessings? It is a song pure and praiseful to the lord. The tune, I can understand, but to dislike the lyrics just doesn't make sense in my mind. That's like saying you think 'Come Come Ye Saints' is stupid.
