Lately, there's been a LOT of movies that are based off of books. Eragon, Harry Potter, Spiderwick, Tale of Desperaux, etc. Some of them, like Eragon, were tyring to follow the plot of the book, and then decided to do it weird. Some of them, like Harry Potter, often followed either exactly the book's plot, or very close to it. Some of them, like Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, did thier movie as a sequel. Which do you think Book-movies should be? I think they should be either a sequel or kinda like the book, cause if it was the book all over again, only the fans of the book would enjoy it. People who thought the movie looked good but didn't like the book would not enjoy it. Of course, if it goes TOO far from the book, like Where the Wild Things Are did, it gets not so great reviews. From, for example, the author.

I love books. I love movies. However watching a movie thats exactley the same is basically rereading the book. I get bored. Restless. I start whispering what happends next. I laugh before the funny parts happen. I cry before someone dies. I jump up and scream when the evil guy gets away... Okay, i'm not that dramatic X) Seriously though, when I read I see it. I see everything. Watching the movie is basically the same as whats in my head..except I don't get to decide how hot the characters are! But then I get mad when the movies ruin the story...so as long as the ideas there but not the plot its cool with me
