I just made Almond Roca for Christmas. It was so good I realized this is my last Christmas at home (as I plan on going to my grandparents house in Oregon during Christmas break at BYU Idaho) I keep remembering things. Traditions. My mom always made almond roca. Now I can continue the tradition while I am away from home

This year may be my last at home, too! I'm really sad about that. I don't know if I could bring myself to leave next year, with everything going on here at home. I'd be 2,000 miles away from my family. That's just such a scary thought :/ But I know I have to do it eventually. We're opening presents tonight, like we always do I'm excited. But first we'll read Luke 2, in order to remember what Christmas is really about. Then tomorrow we're having some family over along with the missionaries, I think. I'm really excited!

We always read the scriptures on Christmas eve and then we act it out with my dad narrating it from the scriptures before we open presents.
When I have kids I think it would be really cool to have each of them have 3 presents. For the 3 presents Jesus Christ recieved from the wisemen!!
My mom gives us more then 3, but honestly-how much stuff do ppl need!

I always thought that that was a good idea I think I'll do it when I'm married, since we shouldn't spend too much on each other, anyway! But when I have kids I'll probably want to spoil them. I guess it depends on how many kids I have...
