I'm trying to organize everything, so this is just what I cut and paste from my Jayda's Jubilations page :]
Okay, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with this page... So I'll just do whatever, I guess? I can update on my writing on here, too! Okay.
Well, I'm Jayda, I'm seventeen, a graduate of 2010, and I'm a future New York Times Bestselling author. Okay... well, the last one is just a major dream, but it could so happen!
I live in Georgia, sometimes my life is great, other times is horrible. Right now it's just a mix, I guess. I love to sing (I'm high soprano! Yay! ^_^), hang out with my friends, go on facebook, text... I guess I could kind of be considered the average teenager?
Writing is MY LIFE. Well... there are five things that make me ultimately happy.
1. My religion
2. My family
3. My friends
4. Writing
5. Reading and music
Well, I guess that technically that's six things? But reading and music are right behind writing. Actually, music is probably technically fifth, but reading is important to me, too. I just prefer to write over reading, because then I control the story Mwahaha.
I've been seriously writing for the past three years now. February 2010 will be the three-year-anniversary of the first novel I ever wrote being completed! Yay! I've written seven novels. I'm working on my seventh and eighth as of right now I hope to have writing as a profession someday.
I'm actually working in a collaborative group for YA-authors. We're mentored by a published author, the wonderful D.B. Pacini! We're writing a collab project that's Urban Fantasy. It's SO much fun! She's great. D.B. has been a marvelous help for my writing! We're going to be published in 2011!
Other then that... what else is interesting about me?
Well, my family has loads of weird, rare medical stuff xD Haha. If you really want to know about that, ask. I won't bother if you don't wish to know But that all has been going on for ten years now, since I was six, when I was diagnosed. Then my sister was diagnosed with her stuff about eight or nine years ago now, and my mom was diagnosed with her stuff about four years ago, I think? Then my dad was diagnosed with his rare disease in 2010.
Hmmm... Oh! I write songs. Well... lyrics. I have a lot of them, but only a few of them are actualy good. They help me express my emotions through a poetry that can be put to notes I write poetry, too, but I find lyrics to be easier, for some reason.
I love taking pictures, too! I haven't really tried out photography, but it would be cool to try someday. My friend and I did a photoshoot a few months ago That was great. But it wasn't like we were trying to be professional or anything.
Hmmm... Oh! I've driven across the country. Twice I know for sure, but I think three times? One time when I was little... I swear we had to drive back to get back to California xD Then another time a week or two before I turned six when we moved here to Georgia.
I'm a weather freak. Mainly I'm obsessed with tornadoes, but all weather is amazing. My dream is to film a tornado. I've already filmed loads of lightning - BRING ON THE GREATNESS! I'd love to chase storms for a while when I get older, but I'm not sure how likely that is. The only weather thing I'm really scared of is lightning. Weird, right? That's all because you never know where it'll strike. I love basically anything else And lightning is all grand and beautiful when you're inside! Just not when you're outside.
I finished my Young Womens Personal Progress and received my medallion when I was 15 and finished it a second time when I was 16.
My goal is to highlight one scripture from each collumn on each page (there are two collumns per page) in the Bible, The Book Of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. I'm working on the BoM right now. I'm in Alma It's so cool!
I LOVE WATER!
I'll add more if I think of anything else random xD
