not really. If it isnt supporting those dark things then there shouldnt be a problem with writing one like that.

That would be fine. I've written similar things. I usually write about how I feel. Those are feelings that plenty of people experience, and things that you can go through. So it's fine.

Haha, a lot of times I write what I'm feeling, pretty sad stuff.
Some things I wonder..... how far is going to far in a poem?... like with the subject being very sad to the point of tears- is that to sad?, or a poem about the person in it think of killing himself?...
how far is to far?

I've never even thought about there needing to be a limit to a poem. I say go as far as you want. As long as there isn't anything "evil" in there then you're fine. Express how you may. And if it's extreme/really intense, just keep it to yourself. That's what I do.

Okay thanks, With poems, do you just write whatever?, do does it have to do with anything in your life that did happen is happening now?
Reason for asking, I was talking to a guy last night and he said poems is by the writer what they went throw in life... like love, heart broke, loneliness... is that true?
Cuz I just write ideas that come to my mind.. I don't act on them and write all the time, the ideas that stand out the most, I do.

When I was younger (12-13) and started really focusing on poetry I wrote about things like love and loss, though I'd never experienced them. Some authors and poets will tell you that you have to experience such things to be able to write about them. I disagree. You know you're a good author when you can write about something you've never experienced, yet make it believable and realistic. J.K. Rowling has never actually been to Hogwarts. Does she write about it any less realistically?
Nowadays I write how I feel. So right now I've been writing about being confused and hurt. Two years ago when some stuff happened I wrote one of my best poems talking about the anger I felt and the confusion I felt towards someone's actions.
I hope that helped!

Yeah it does help, I should just tell the guy to "shut up" hahha j/k, I understand Thanks for your guys help aghhh.... another question I been showing my poems to people and more then half of them say I should publish them (For the ones who don't say anything about publishing, they all say my poems are great, understanding, etc) For example: Jordan a friend I got on fb who's in her 20's, said this about my the poem about Christ dying on cross. "wow that is very deep i can see why people would tear up...i am. all of your poems are really great. you write in a way that i think everyone can gain an understanding and connection. the best writing that i have read and that has touched me in my life is the writing that i can connect to and then make my life better with" I'm to hard on myself to really say I'm good, I just write cuz I love it, people read my poems and are shock by them... when I'm like "What, it's only writing" Another example: The guy who told me about writing poems that happend in ur life n stuff, I asked him how long do you think I been writing, he said "some of it seems amaeture, like to me only a couple years.... then, some of it indictates... indicates you have been for all your life, but haven't figured out how to put it all together until recently" Actually, I just started writing... I started writing 4 weeks ago... took a break for a week. so really only 3weeks with 8 poems done.... And he thought I been writing for some years or all my life, his not the frist... everyone are shock by it... idk why xD

Told him I write poetry etc, he talked about writings songs (He started guitar 5 years ago) he can't write anything good, he said.... so he asked if he could read the poem.... and he said "Dang man, your good" and asked if I could write a song for him to play.... after he got down reading poem 3 other guys read it and one girl... it was amazing
