I'm looking to find out more about the teen and young adult scene. Can you think of anything that you or your friends are struggling with? Depression, addiction, anything? Please let me know so I can get one of our group to blog about it. Thanks!

The biggest problems in my school, in order from worst to least, is sexual immorality, booze and moon shine, I live in kkentucky they make it all the time here and just hand it out, and tobacco.
Being the only member in this kind of environment is not good so I guess you could write about staying strong even if no one else is a member or they arent living up to there standards

I think the problem I face at school and in my friends is pride. It seems to be everywhere, especially with the area i live in a lot of rich ppl .. not that being rich is bad... its the pride that gets to me

Thanks Erin, I will add that to the list of books I plan to read. I used to never read nonfiction except for the scriptures and school assignments, but now I'm reading it like crazy. It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you can practically hear the clock ticking in your head. Amber, can you tell me about any specific experiences? I'd very much like to address the issue if only I can get a better on handle on what it is in this case. Thanks for helping! FRG just held a voice conference and I'm really excited about some of the ideas we came up with.

Its like the attitude that just because someone has designer clothes, executive cars, and expensive houses they are better then everyone else ... it seems like if you aren't wearing the designer clothes or have a nice car you arent exactly part of the "in" crowd

Hey you guys, FRG is still searching for its niche. How can we help? Since the church has their own youth website up I'm not sure we need to continue on our present course. So a bunch of our members stuck our heads together and we came up with some really tough questions that young adults (that includes teens) in the church struggle with. We are tip-toeing our way into writing about much more controversial subjects that need to be addressed. I hope all of you will consider getting involved in the discussions that are bound to take place on our blog blog.RisingGeneration.org/ By the way, I'm going to be carefully moderating these discussions so that the conversations stay modest and safe. Our first subject might be homosexuality inspired by the discussion that took place on this forum just a little bit ago. I'll have it up today or tomorrow so be watching and please contribute your two cents!

Hey guys! I'm afraid since I'm going on a mission, I won't be able to champion the cause of LDS apologetics anymore. At least not directly... Anyway, you'll notice the blog and website have gone offline and they probably will be for a while. FAIR is in the process of setting up FRG as a club at BYU so if you are attending that school you should definitely check it out with Dr. Peterson or David Ferguson. If you don't know them, I'm sure you'll be able to ask at the office or something.
