Hey, so I got to go to summer seminary on Thursday (WHICH, by the way, was AWESOME), and they were talking about it! ... a little bit They were actually saying that girls should NOT wait for guys going on missions! Get out there, and have fun! Girls shouldn't be restrained to just the one guy, who isn't even THERE, and it's too emotional for the guys! They need to be FOCUSED on their missions! lol What I don't like is that girls don't get to serve as long missions... And, BTW, My great grandmother died at 93, and she was perfectly happy, healthy, and independent! ....except she probably shouldn't have been driving at that age.... lol! Ok, good advice Mary_Lynn! Maybe girls don't serve as long, because they had to wait 2 years longer to go on a mission and now they still want to serve, but they would also like to get married and start a family. That's cool that your great grandmother lived to be 93! Maybe it will run in the family to live a long time and be healthy and happy! i think it depends on how you live your life jenni....... But maybe Casey will live long. Okay, I know this is WAY old, but I JUST noticed it.. Are you inferring that I don't live a good life, Sakura? I do, too! I live a GREAT life, THANKyouVeryMuch! lol love you much! -ML ;D

Hahaha.
Well, I'm sure that it happens--the girl waiting, take Other Side of Heaven--but all too often it doesn't.
Anyway, I'm having a fun time trying to get my emotions all sorted out before I leave. My papers are almost in. I just need to interview with the Stake President. (I'm pretty sure that's all I have left.)

thats a great goal casey. i really like what mary lynn said. ummm...ive kinda convinced myself that i want to go on a mission. i want to serve the lord. i really feel like thats one of my callings in life. and i really do not want to get married before 21 in the first place. i really feel that is still to young. but thats my own personal opinion. so girls. if u feel you want to serve the lord that much then dont let anything hold you back. one thing in life is i DONT want to send a missionary off and be hes girlfriend. because 2 years is a long time and people change. and i want nothing to effect that missionary to come home early. girls...weither you know this or not. you have such an influence on guys!

I think that if you do have a gf/bf on your mission, break up!! i think it will save you the tears for when he/she gets married on your mission!

I think that if you do have a gf/bf on your mission, break up!! i think it will save you the tears for when he/she gets married on your mission! Also: You're better off to just casually date a variety of people right now. That way you can see the range of different qualities in the opposite gender. If you single date too soon and then marry...you may regret it down the road!
