Hello, everyone! A few years ago I used to be on here pretty much every day. Life happened, and I forgot about the existence of Mormon Teen World. Then, today, I suddenly remembered it. I felt like I had to visit. It was so sad to see how inactive it is nowadays! But I was happy to see some recent posts from members I remember. I had to create a new profile: I didn't remember my old username or password. I used to be 'Sayari's other half'. I gave the name Sayari to Jenni when I was in an intense anime-loving phase. Ah, memories. I thought I should create a new thread to give the boards some life and let anyone who's interested know that I am alive and well! I'm 21 now, and I've just finished my degree in Languages. Well, technically I'm not officially finished yet, but I just recently wrote my last exam. I hope that I have grown in a good way since I was last on here. Much love and the very best wishes! Erin

Hey, Michael! Yes, of course I remember you! I'm glad that you've helped keep the boards going. Oh, and thank you! I still don't feel like I've actually finished. My life feels like perpetual school haha. How have you been? What's new? Fill me in!

Wow! How cool a surprise it was to see my good friend return to the site! I've missed you enormously Erin!! Michael has been the most faithful member on the site so I was happy to see that you gave him thanks......and I want to second that!! Thanks for all of your help over the years Michael!!!
Yes, Erin introduced me to anime and gave me the name Sayari! Those were good memories that I will always treasure!! It's amazing to look back on all of the little things that have happened over the years and notice how we as individuals can touch the life of another for good or for bad, in a little way or in a profound manner! With Erin, it wasn't profound, but she did inject a robust zest for life.......the ability to see and appreciate the beauty and value in everyone and to share her contagious humor that would without a doubt put a smile on your face! Hugs Twinny!

Hugs Twinny! You may consider it a Thanksgiving present! Not that I planned it that way. Does anyone even give gifts on Thankgsiving? Ah well, it doesn't matter! A gift at any time is a welcome thing! And I'm glad to hear that I've been missed, naturally. Michael has been so active and wonderful on these boards. He deserves praise for it! Oh, Jenni, I think that the holidays have made you philosophical! I recently read a quote from Gandhi, "In a gentle way, you can shake the world." Whether we have a huge impact on another's life or not, we often forget that we DO impact on others' lives. Friendship on an Internet forum can be just another way of impacting the world in a positive way. I'd like to think I have some part in that. Or maybe I just like to flatter myself, who knows? I sent you a message. I don't know whether you've seen it or not so I thought I'd mention it just to make sure. Thank you for the love and hugs, Twinny! I do not know when next anyone will be on since it's the holiday season there, so Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! May the holiday itself remind each person how fortunate they really are. And I look forward to catching up with you guys soon!

I'm 21, I've been going to the YSA branch here for about two years already (Time flys by) haven't done any schooling since High School yet. I'm planning on going on my mission this upcoming year. Hoping to send in my mission papers without my family knowing, and surprising them on my birthday (May 31st) If I plan it right. with the timing. I'll be like 22 when I go on mission, but it's the going that really matters, not the age. Oh and I got a pretty sweet beard going on ;p Also, Thanks Jenni

Good luck with your mission plans! It will teach you a lot and certainly help you grow. I think you're going to have to shave that beard, though.

Hi Erin!
In my area, the usual Thanksgiving custom is to have family and close friends over to give thanks for all of the blessings that we have received over the year with a delicious meal and to enjoy ones company! After a short time the sports fans will retire to the big screen TV and the rest of us will continue to visit and update each other on our lives.
I sent you a message before you posted the one asking if I had received your message, so I hope that you got it?
You should be able to hit the button marked forgot my password to receive a link to set up a new one, but your new account is just fine too!
Now that you are finishing up your university studies....what are your future plans?
PS: "Red beard" Michael, you're welcome! Also, I think Erin is right about your beard's limited future, should you go on that mission.....so enjoy it while you can! Lol

And the sports, actually. Oh, I haven't gotten anything! Did you send it to this new account? I'll see if I can investigate my old account as well. I created this new one because I couldn't remember my old username, either! It was different from my display name, and I had no clue what it could have been! Future plans! There's actually a whole story behind those! xD Long story short, I want to teach English in Thailand for 6 months to a year. I'm preparing for that at the moment. There are a few things I have to get sorted before I can do that. One of those is earning the money to be able to do that! But what about you, Jenni? What are you up to?
