Joyeux Noël! Geseënde Kersfees! Frohe Weihnachten! Buon Natale! Feliz Natal! ¡Feliz Navidad! MERRY CHRISTMAS, everybody! ^_^ I think the favourite thing that I gave to someone, would have to be a tie between the chef's knife for my brother and the crochet book for my mom. Receiving didn't matter very much to me this Christmas. Although I appreciated the gifts, I didn't feel too much need for them. Perhaps that would have been different had someone given me a book, though. Lol

Lol, she loves books and so do I! The only difference is that she prefers reading from a real book and I like reading them on my ereader. I gave my brother some action movies and he gave me some credit to buy some more ebooks!

No, I just find that for me it is more convenient to carry them around and read them on an ereader. They're also way cheaper in ebook form too! I too like the smell and feel of a real book and I do have several in my collection!

I'm actually extremely fussy about my books. Bent covers/dirty pages/torn covers/ torn pages are a no-no. Sometimes I wash my hands TWICE before reading one of my books. I am a freak. Yep.

Yep. I hate it when people dog ear a page or write in a book too! The only books I would write in, are textbooks. I would use markers, not dog ears. I can handle imperfections in second-hand books, though. It adds to the charm. But I expect my new books to be in pristine condition. I also expect people who work in bookstores to know how to handle books properly.
