did you all know the Pope has a face book? Lol, no, I didn't know it. Are you thinking of asking him for a friend request? I wonder if President Monson has a Facebook account? I may just to brag about it but I could honestly spend less time on the internet.

I kinda think if we don't want our parents to see it,unless it's personal then there's a problem going on that needs to be sorted out.

Agreed, and it's only cool to act stupid sometimes--as in acting goofy--it's NOT cool to actually do something stupid--aka unsafe--like giving out personal information to random people on the internet.
Making a person a friend on Facebook/Myspace will give that person access to a LOT of info. about you, so be safe and only make friends with people you know and/or have met.

Agreed.Erik said what I wanted to say.Be stupid, but be safe stupid ok Shadow?
When you add someone on Facebook they have access to everything you choose to put on there.Pictures, cellphone number, maybe even your address.Insome cases people may actually steal your identity. It has happened.
In South Africa we have a very popular chat program for the phone called Mxit (said mix-it).And several girls have been kidnapped or taken advantage of because the girls think they know the sweet guy on the other side, until it's too late.

People already beat me to it, but they're right. Facebook is a place to connect with people you already know, not meet new people. If you're adding people you don't know, first off, if you don't know them I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're not friends, and secondly all your info is now in their hands.
I have 400-some friends and I know them all personally. I think that's plenty, and I don't see the point behind adding strangers for anyone.

I have a few self set rules about facebook. 1) I do not add those i dont know 2) i do not add random ppl from school or church. I need to speak with these people at least 1 a week (church ppl) or 3x a week for school. Rule does not apply to long distance friends/relatives. 3) I do not ask to be peoples friends....they ask me. I have only asked 3 people out of my 108 friends. 4) I randomly go through and delete people that i dont need anymore/use...(the girl who requested me from english class that i might some day need the HW assignmet.) 5) I delete everyone from my live feed unless i REALLY care about them and would bend over backwords to help them.
