WRONG!
It's actually a mushroom, the honey fungus. The largest recorded specimen resides in Malheur National Forest in Oregon. It covers 890 hectares (2200 acres). It was originally thought to be many separate plants but it is actually one huge one connected underground.
Next Question:
What do humans and koala bears have in common?

Actually, your both wrong. I just remembered about this vineyard of peach trees that are all connected with one central root. They would be the largest living thing. I'm positive.
And..we're both living?

It is almost impossible to tell the difference between the fingerprints of a human and a koala. They are that similar.

The answer is,about 2 years!
This because of Mike the headless chicken! It's true, google it if you don't believe me!The axe missed his jugular vein and left enough brain stem for him to survive.Instead of becoming dinner,he became famous! This failed decapitation occured on the 10th of September 1945.This chicken was valued at $10 000!
Mike was fed with a dropper for these two years.Alas,he died when his owner had left his dropper behind-he had started to choke and there was no way to clear his airway. To this day there is still a 'Mike the headless chicken' day!
Next question:
What shape did the medieval people believe the Earth was?
|
|
|
Post by shadow on Jan 10, 2011 11:35:34 GMT -5
Flat, like a square or rectangle. Based on the phrase 4 corners of the earth in the Bible and because they believe the earth was the center of the universe. And thats not fair!!! I answered that in general!!!

Post by Sayari's other half on Jan 23, 2011 6:50:48 GMT -5
Not what you think,JT. Since around the 4th century BC almost no one anywhere has believed that the Earth is flat. This belief was incorrectly gained from a semi-fictional book called The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus by Washington Irving. Answer: I already knew this:the hippo. BUT if we count insects then it is the mosquito.
